I love the fall/winter season because I like to layer up, and I love to dress up in boots! But beyond that, I also like to try different recipes of teas and mocktails. My blog post for today is about the very cozy chamomile mocktail that I hope you will try this season!
When the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, our bodies naturally crave warmth, grounding, and gentle calm. Whether you’re winding down after a long day or simply seeking a moment of peace, these two nerve-calming mocktails are the perfect companions for your fall and winter self-care rituals.
Infused with soothing botanicals and natural sweetness, each sip feels like a slow exhale — a reminder to pause, breathe, and restore balance.
1. Warm Version: Calm & Cozy Apple-Chamomile Mocktail
Best for: Evenings, cozy nights, mindful relaxation
Flavor profile: Comforting, spiced, lightly floral
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened apple cider
½ cup brewed chamomile tea (cooled slightly)
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 thin slice fresh ginger (optional, for warmth)
A dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
Apple slice or cinnamon stick for garnish
Directions:
Brew & cool: Steep chamomile tea for 5–7 minutes; let cool slightly.
Warm the cider: In a small pot, gently heat apple cider with ginger until steaming.
Blend & serve: Remove ginger, stir in tea, lemon juice, and honey. Pour into a mug and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
Garnish & sip: Add an apple slice or cinnamon stick. Breathe in the aroma before your first sip.
Why it works:
Chamomile helps calm the nervous system, while apple cider and warm spices bring grounding comfort — the ultimate drink for unwinding before bed.
2. Chilled Version: Serene Glow Sparkler
Best for: Mid-day refreshment, social gatherings, spa-like self-care
Flavor profile: Light, sparkling, subtly sweet
Ingredients:
½ cup brewed chamomile tea (chilled)
½ cup pear juice or white grape juice
1 tsp honey or agave syrup
¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp lemon juice
Sparkling water or club soda
Ice cubes
Garnish: pear slice, rosemary sprig, or edible flower
Directions:
Prepare: Brew chamomile tea and chill.
Mix: Combine tea, juice, honey, vanilla, and lemon in a shaker or glass.
Pour: Add ice, top with sparkling water, and gently stir.
Garnish: Float a pear slice or rosemary sprig for a serene finish.
Why it works:
Chamomile’s gentle floral notes meet the natural sweetness of pear and the crisp sparkle of bubbles — a refreshing way to find calm while staying energized.
